Long Shot, Photographic Center Northwest, Seattle, Washington, USA

Long Shot is Seattle’s Photographic Center Northwest’s annual summer celebration, sharing images shot over a 24-hour period during the longest day of the year – the summer solstice. I chose to submit three urban landscapes of Ellensburg, Washington, featuring some of my favourite fonts on buildings. I wanted to show the flatness of Ellensburg, the crispness of the summer sun and some of the history of Ellensburg, such as the logging and milk industry.
